Hair loss is a common problem faced by both men and women these days. People use different shampoos, hair oils, conditioners to prevent hair loss and still face the same problem. There are three things you need to consider when you are facing hair fall.

1. Causes of hair loss
2. Area of hair loss
3. Amount of hair loss

If you are losing hair in the crown it is referred to as androgenic alopecia. There are different types of androgenic alopecia type I, type II, type III. If you are suffering with androgenic alopecia you will face progressive hair loss even after using hair oils, shampoos and conditioners. If you are using hair products containing mynoxidil it can reduce the hair loss in androgenic alopecia like conditions. Mynoxidil also have different side effects. When you stop using mynoxidil you will experience excessive hair loss.

When you lose hair from all over the head, that condition is called telogen effluvium. In telogen effluvium the hair loss will be there for 30-90 days and eventually decreases after that period of time. Telogen effluvium does not need any special treatment as it cures by itself after a period of time.

Oils and shampoos cannot penetrate the skin and enter the body to cure hair loss. Certain techniques like electroporation and mesotherapy can be used to insert the fluids in the skin through the pores. Hair oils can improve the scalp quality and moisturize the hair but don’t control hair loss. Certain medications can be mixed with the oil and used to improve the quality of hair.

When you suffer with hair loss, there are three possible diseases that are responsible for the condition i.e., androgenic alopecia, alopecia aerate or telogen effluvium. If you are suffering with hormonal disorders like diabetes, thyroid and polycystic ovaries, then you need to treat the root cause and eventually it will reduce hair loss.

Bad water can also lead to hair loss. Stress and traumatic conditions can also lead to hair loss and thus the root cause need to be treated before using shampoos and conditioners. The hair products are only used to improve the quality of hair but cannot treat hair loss.
