Pregnancy is a very crucial stage in life that needs complete care for the benefit of both mother and the baby. Generally people experience pain in different parts of the body. Mild pain does not pose any risk for the mother and the baby whereas; chronic or continuous pain needs medical assistance to avoid any complications.

Acidity is caused when the mother does not eat food on time. When there are big gaps during the meals, then it can lead to headache. Frequent meals are required during pregnancy.

It is recommended to eat every 2-3 hours to avoid severe headache. Frequent meals on time will provide sufficient nutrients and sugars to your body that are necessary for your baby and your wellbeing.
2. Hormonal changes
Hormonal changes in your body can lead to headache. During the first trimester you will experience frequent headaches. To relieve headache, you can make use of local home remedies like balm.
Apart from local home remedies, you can take paracetamol. Paracetamol is the safest medicine that you can take during pregnancy. Once in a while you can take paracetamol to relieve pain. Headache will reduce during the 2nd and 3rd trimester when compared to the first trimester. Try not to take too much stress as it will increase your headache.
3. Neurological causes
Headache is not always due to pregnancy, it can also be due to the neurological disorder. In case of neurological disorder, you must consult a physician or a neurologist and get it treated to avoid complications.
4. Sinus
Sinus is one of the common problems that can cause headaches during pregnancy. Sinus headache is also common during pregnancy. Due to constant change in weather conditions, patients suffering with allergic rhinitis experience severe headache.
If the headache is not cured with the home remedies and regular meals, it is recommended to consult an ENT specialist or a physician for treatment.
