EGCG is a powerful antioxidant which can prevent heart disease and cancer. If EGCG is taken as a supplement can stimulate the body to burn more fat and helps to lose weight.

But recent studies have proved that EGCG may help improve cognitive function and memory. The mechanism is that EGCG stimulates the growth of new nerve cells in the hippocampus part of the brain where Alzheimer’s develops. In Alzheimer, the hippocampus shrinks resulting in short term memory loss.

A lot of animal studies conducted have shown that when EGCG is given, animals also had improved memory and spatial learning. Also, previous reports have showed that green tea may improve memory but there is no proper evidence to prove at that time.

Recommended Levels of Green Tea

Drink 2-3 cups of green tea each day is good for health. It also helps you to increase your memory.

And, taking combination of supplements such as EGCG, chromium, and hydroxyl citric acid would help maintain lean mass, burn body fat, and get the cardiovascular and anti-cancer benefits. This will also improve blood sugar levels and preserves memory.

Therefore, it is good to have Green tea each day to stay fit and improve memory.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
