Once you feel these symptoms you should get your thyroid hormones, mainly, T3 and T4, and TSH tested. Our body needs both T3 and T4 and a balance should be maintained. When there is a decrease in Selenium in the body, it causes the T3 to decrease, and when this happens, one suffers from hypothyroid.

Hypothyroidism is a common thyroid related problem, especially in the western countries. This is a condition where there is a deficiency in the thyroid hormone and this is primarily caused by underactive thyroid function and about 4% of total American population suffers from it, especially the women.

In order to fight with this problem in a natural way, introduce an amount of iodine rich food in your diet. Also keep checking your thyroid level and talk to your physician to know if hyperthyroidism is a problem for you. It can be manifested through various symptoms as noted above. So if you have few of these symptoms, go for the needed tests and undergo the right treatment.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
