There are a lot of foods which may not be safe for pregnant females to consume and hence it is very important to know what is safe and what is not. The following is a list of safe foods for pregnant women.

Sweet Items

Eating chocolate is safe since trace amounts of caffeine are not dangerous but potentially toxic sweetener saccharine must be avoided. Artificial sweeteners like sucrolose etc are also safe but only in moderation.

Non Organic Livestock

There is no research which shows non organic livestock are unsafe and hence you can consider consuming them if you are pregnant.

Non Organic Produce

Non organic produce is also considered safe but they must be washed properly before consumption.

Spicy Foods

A lot of pregnant women worry whether very spicy foods are safe for them or not. But research shows that eating spicy foods is absolutely okay but may sometimes lead to heartburn which can make one very uncomfortable.
