Minimizing Sugar Intake
A sugar-laden diet may raise the risk of heart disease. According to the American Heart Association, women consume less than 6 teaspoons of sugar per day but men tops by consuming about 9 teaspoons of sugar per day.
No Smoking
Smoking is dangerous for health. Abstaining from it not only prevents heart diseases but also reduces diseases of the lungs and arteries.
Stress Management
Managing stress is critical and it can be done through meditation, breathing, yoga and exercises.
