Find the Right Location

Try to find a place where you can rest yourself without any disturbance.

Maintain your Spine Straight

A straight spine is the best posture for effective meditation. Sitting in a chair, sitting on the floor and sitting on a knee with a straight spine are some of the great postures that you can try out.

Pre-Meditation Preparation

Sit comfortably between the stereo speakers and play a meditation audio of your choice. It is better to start with Binaural frequencies. These frequencies enhance meditation by encouraging brain move into a nice fully present meditation state. This will also help you protect from any distraction that lets you lower your concentration levels.

Close your Eyes and Relax

Take deep breathing into your nose and out your mouth. When you inhale, try to fill our lungs as much as you can and hold for a few seconds. While exhaling, imagine that your body releases any tension in the form of breath. Here, all the tension and negative feeling in your body will release out in the form of breath.

Focus on Breath

After three stress releasing breaths, allow your breathing to be natural. Here,

  • Bring your awareness to the sensation of your breath
  • Notice a tickling as the air enters your nose
  • Observe subtle rise and fall as you inhale and exhale

While meditating, it’s obvious that your mind will be wondering around a number of thoughts. So, you need to stop that and should focus on your breath.
