Children are more likely get addicted to sugar in forms of sweets, candies, chocolates etc. The addiction plays havoc with your metabolism rate and the more you consume sugar, the more you crave for it and thus it is important to break the circle, sometimes may be forcefully.

First and foremost you need to make a decision about breaking the habit. Next you need to start avoiding foods that are rich in sugar and even artificial sweetener, which leads to obesity and diabetes. The next thing that you need to avoid is sugary drinks, sodas etc., which have high amount of calories in them.

In order to get rid of your sugar addiction, you also need to avoid some vegetables; all you need to do is say NO to starchy vegetables like zucchini, capsicum, mushrooms etc. for at least 10 days. Also add protein to all your meals significantly, especially in your breakfast and make it nutritious as much as possible. The meals should include nuts, legumes, eggs, egg whites, chickens etc. ideally.
