Bananas are good source of energy. One banana gives you 150 calories maximum. Either losing weight or gaining weight with bananas is based on how many bananas you eat. Our body requires carbohydrates for even body execution and overloaded carbohydrates can lead to gain weight. Bananas contain nutritional elements like fibre, vitamins and minerals. It also contains a substance called pectin, which leaves you feeling full for a longer period of time.
Bananas are a good source of vitamin A and vitamin C; it is a great anti-wrinkle food. An iron and B vitamin makes a banana a huge resource of essential minerals and vitamins for vegans and veggies. It also contain a little bit of the hormone melatonin, which makes you sleepy in the evening. If you are not getting sleep, just consume one small banana in the evening before going to bed. It acts as a sleep inducer. The banana has optimistic mood influencing properties it contains tryptophan in it that makes you feel happy. So, if you are sensitive to depression or if you are moody in the morning, add a banana to breakfast. It has essential amino acid tryptophan which makes you feel happy.
