Effective Ways to Strengthen your Immune System

The immune system is the defence mechanism of the body and so it should be strengthened and kept healthy to enable the body to fight against diseases. This can be achieved by the inclusion of various probiotic-rich food in the diet. Studies have shown that Leaky gut is a disease which causes food sensitivities, autoimmune diseases and weakened digestive system. Probiotics play a major role in the healing of the Leaky gut.

Probiotics are good bacteria that are introduced into the body to digest nutrients, detoxify the colon and to support the immune system.

The following precautionary measures should be taken improve the immune system:

  • Consumption of fluoride containing water should be discouraged.
  • Prescription antibiotics should be taken with caution.
  • Too much of sugar from the diet should be eliminated.
  • Incorporation of probiotic- rich food in the diet such as fermented dairy products like kefir and goat smoked yogurt, fermented vegetables like kimchi, sauerkraut kvass and probiotic beverages like apple cider vinegar and coconut kefir can boost up the immune system of the body.

Thus to sum up,  probiotic food like pastured kefir, yogurt, coconut kefir, apple cider vinegar and fermented vegetables like kimchi, sauerkraut to name a few are very essential to improve the immune system.
